What are the challenges facing the construction of today's data centers?  Rider Levett Bucknall's construction consulting team will provide an inside look at today's construction cost environment, highlighting trends and planning considerations shaping projects (data centers and beyond) in 2026.

Speakers

Julia Flores is a Principal with Rider Levett Bucknall with an extensive range of experience while working in the Boston and Denver offices for the last decade. She has over 15 years of cost estimating experience in a variety of sectors including data centers and specializes in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) detailed cost estimating. Julia brings a strong understanding of requirements and expectations on a project and will help lead the team in a successful project deliveries.

Ezekiel Mbuthia is a Senior Cost Manager with over 14 years of industry experience. He is a highly driven and results-oriented leader with specialized expertise in data center construction, commercial tenant improvement projects, and building fit-outs. Ezekiel also serves as the Lead Account Manager for a confidential client, acting as RLB’s primary point of contact for data center construction.

Josh Marks, PE, PMP is a Tucson native and construction professional with 25 years of experience in managing complex transportation, wet utility and commercial projects.  Josh is RLB North America's Head of Infrastructure and has worked predominantly on Southern Arizona projects throughout his nearly 12 year tenure with the firm.

Rory Juneman practices in the area of real estate, zoning and land use planning, with a focus on sustainable developments.  His experience includes land use approvals, such as rezonings, variance, and conditional use permits, along with negotiating complex land use and real estate agreements with local jurisdictions, neighborhoods, and other property owners.
